Meet the designers;
Owner and designer Cara Prescott AIFD CFD .
My husband and I have owned and operated Don's House of Flowers for 7
years. We have 4 children ages 14-28, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a grandson on the
way!
Floristry has been part of my life sense I worked for Don McIlravy in high
school. With over 30 years of design experience, it is my honor and
privilege to carry on he's legacy of Don's House of Flowers.
I believe in developing our skills and talents to the best of our ability.I
am a Certified Floral Designer and with much studying and testing I am
excited to announce that I will be inducted to the American Institute of
Floral Design this July,
I am also very excited to announce that I am going to be doing full wedding
and event planning. Planning events of any size has always been a passion
of mine. I love seeing things through so that everything compliments each
other. I love Transforming a room into an elegant atmosphere that people
feel comfortable and welcome in.
I am truly blessed to be able to take the beauty God has given us and turn
it into gifts that enrich peoples lives.

I have lived in North Dakota my whole like, maybe it's the long winters that have sparked my like long love of flowers.
I came to work at Don's House of Flower with Cara in the fall of 2015 and can honestly say that I haven't had to "work" a day since. There is always something new to learn in this industry so continuing my education through classes and workshops is very important to keeping up with the latest trends and styles. one of the things I like the best is the ability to connect one to one with our customers especially when creating one of a kind arrangements for likes special moments.
